Clifton Arms Hotel : Room 205
30 Mar 2013
It has been a busy start to the Easter Break for Team Monument completing another lovely room at The Clifton Arms Hotel in Lytham. Take a look at the before and after shots and see what you think…
Starring in this shot, The Husband doing the measuring honours. What did we do before iPads (and husbands)?
Room 205 has the great advantage of an utterly glorious view out over Lytham Green and across Grannies Bay to Southport. We took inspiration from the beautiful view to transform the room.
Celebrating the Georgian roots of the hotel we chose a traditional palette of duck egg blue, soft grey and cream but updated it with quirky features such as the duck wallpaper and horse head lamps.
Remember the wood laminate wardrobes from the before shots? We gave them a whole new lease of life with this super paint finish and white ceramic handles.
The crowing glory of the room …. the view, lovely whatever the weather.
This month we are looking at The Churchill Suite so watch this space for the next instalment…
